Argentina, Bolivia inaugurate NG pipeline

Argentina and Bolivia have inaugurated a new 48km natural gas pipeline. The two governments invested approximately USD 50 million to build the pipeline, which was created to significantly increase the amount of fuel piped from Bolivia to Argentina.

Petrobras acquires 50% stake in biodiesel plant

Petrobras has acquired 50% of the capital stock of BSBIOS Industria e Comercio de Biodiesel Sul Brasil S.A. through its wholly owned subsidiary Petrobras Biocombustivel S.A. Pbio. Located in Passo Fundo-RS, the company operates a biodiesel plant integrated with a vegetable oil extraction unit.

Nuclear waste clean-up to be monitored

Industrial Video and Control (IVC) will provide video cameras, half of which are radiation tolerant, to Parsons Corporation. Parsons is constructing the Salt Waste Processing Facility (SWPF), a plant with the capacity to process liquid waste stored in underground tanks at the Savannah River Site.

Metso to supply huge biomass boiler
