Numet’s president promoted to CEO

The manufacturer of precision metal components and assemblies for jet turbine engines, Nument Manufacturing Technologies, has announced Mark Roscio’s promotion from President to CEO. This new role is to begin immediately.
Mr. Roscio joined the company in 1989 and worked his way up to senior vice president of sales and marketing. He was instrumental in leading revenue growth, customer diversification and efficiency improvement using lean manufacturing principles and a focus on quality and customer service. He also reinvested in the business after the private investment company, Kidd & Company, acquired it in August 2011.
Donald M. Hardie, a partner at Kidd & Company, said, “We are very pleased with the progress of Numet since our acquisition and Mark’s leadership has been instrumental in continuing to grow the business and to strengthen new and existing customer relationships. Our financial and management resources are available to him as we work together to continue the company’s growth path. Mark has been a terrific partner, and we trust and value his leadership and judgment.”
Numet is a tier 1 provider of parts and components for jet turbine engines to General Electric Aviation, Pratt & Whitney and the US Department of Defence. The milled components are made out of a variety of corrosion resistant alloys such as Waspaloy, Titanium, Cobalt and Inconel.
