MRL Industries Inc. has changed its name to Sandvik Thermal Process Inc. Sandvik has owned MRL since 1999 but has been operating under its own name until now. MRL will continue to be used as a product trademark for parts of Sandvik’s semiconductor and solar industry related heating products. Customers will experience a minimal effect as a result of the change. Sandvik Thermal Process Inc. (STP) provides a variety of solar cell and semiconductor atmospheric and LPCVD horizontal furnaces and processing components. Products are manufactured in house and used in the generation of solar cells and semiconductor devices. STP’s solar equipment product line consists of horizontal diffusion furnaces and in-line furnaces.
