MBMI ships nickel to Asia

Canada-based MBMI Resources Inc. has signed four contracts to ship a total of 125,000 metric tons of nickel ore to certain Asian buyers. Two contracts provide for the delivery of two separate 35,000 metric ton-shipments of nickel ore at 1.4% nickel to an Asian consumer. Two other contracts have been signed with another Asian buyer for the delivery of two shipments of higher grade nickel ore of approximately 27,500tns each. The company and its local subsidiaries jointly control eight laterite nickel projects in Palawan and Samar provinces, covering an area exceeding 22,000 hectares.
