Foster Wheeler snags deal for two HSRGs in Mexico

Foster Wheeler AG has announced that Global Power Group has been awarded a contract for the design and supply of two heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs) to be installed in a cogeneration power plant for the TEREFTALATOS MEXICANOS S.A. DE C.V. TOP 1002 Cogeneration Project in Cosoleacaque, Veracruz, Mexico.
The plant is owned by Cogeneración de Energía Limpia de Cosoleacaque, S.A. de C.V. Global Power Group is a subsidiary of Foster Wheeler and is a world leader in combustion and steam generation technology. The contract was awarded by SCS Proyectos, S.A.P.I. de C.V. Foster Wheeler has received a full notice to proceed on this contract. They will design, supply and provide advisory services for the erection and start-up of the two HRSGs, which will be coupled to two LM 6000PF combustion turbines. Delivery of the HRSGs is scheduled for mid-2013.
