Enterprise to expand NGL export facility

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. will expand the partnership’s natural gas liquids (NGLs) import/export terminal on the Houston Ship Channel. It is expected that this project will almost double the fully refrigerated export loading capacity for propane and other NGLs at the facility. The capacity will increase to over 10,000 barrels per hour, while enhancing its ability to load several vessels at the same time. Completion is scheduled for the second half of 2012. This expansion comes as a result of the demand for NGL export services driven by the increased global demand for NGLs in substitution of more expensive crude oil derivatives. Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is a leading North American provider of midstream energy services to producers and consumers of natural gas, NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals.
