IMOCO announces food & beverage division
Industrial Maintenance Overflow Corporation Inc. (IMOCO), with projects spanning the US, Mexico and Canada, has announced the addition of their new Food and Beverage division. IMOCO's Food and Beverage division specializes in construction and sanitary welding for the food, beverage, dairy and pharmaceutical industries.
Los Rios $5 M apprenticeship grant
Five Los Rios, Northern California colleges have been awarded a $5 million grant from the U.S. Department of Labor to support apprenticeship programs in the region. The grant will fund programs that will work toward creating a model for advanced manufacturing apprenticeships, cultivating a partnership with local industries and increasing training to meet employment needs.
GTT certified Mark V with nickel-steel alloy
Gaztransport & Technigaz (GTT), with partners in Canada, has secured certification from classification society DNV-GL for its new liquid natural gas (LNG) containment system, called the Mark V. The General for Ship Application (GASA) approval of the new containment system is expected to speed up the implementation of two cooperation agreements to confirm the industrialisation of the system.

Kentz awarded stainless steel piping contract
SNC-Lavalin Group Inc. has announced that Kentz, a member of the SNC-Lavalin Group, has been awarded the mechanical and piping (M&P) contract by Sasol's Group Technology on Work Pack 3 of Phase Two of the Fischer-Tropsch Wax Expansion Project (FTWEP) in Sasolburg, South Africa.
