Increased production and reduced CO2 from Canadian

Wood Group awarded turbine generator upgrade

Wood Group GTS was awarded a $11.2 million contract to re-rate one of Los Angeles Department of Water and Power's (LADWP's) Hitachi hydro turbine generators at the Castaic Power Plant, a pumped storage facility 50 miles north of Los Angeles.

The Walsh VINCI Construction joint venture is the design-build team for WVB East End Partners, who have been selected by the Indiana Finance Authority (IFA) to deliver the East End Crossing Project.

Technip acquires Ingenium AS

Technip has acquired Ingenium AS, a highly-experienced offshore engineering and services contractor located in Oslo, Norway. Ingenium AS designs and develops mechanical and electro-hydraulic tools and equipment for the offshore oil and gas industry, and provides engineering services for marine operations, such as the installation of pipes and cables.

ADA-ES wins contracts for 10 ACI Systems

newsitemADA-ES, Inc. has received awards from three utilities to supply ten Activated Carbon Injection (ACI) systems. Work on the contracts, which collectively are valued at more than $7 million, will begin immediately with deliveries in the fourth quarter of 2013 and in 2014.

Phase 2 begins for solar energy facility in Califo

Fluor Corporation has announced that Centinela Solar Energy, LLC, a member of LS Power Group, has issued a notice-to-proceed for Phase 2 of the Centinela Solar Energy Facility, a new nominal 170-megawatt solar photovoltaic (PV) facility located in Southern California.
