Fluor Corporation is combining its modular design expertise with the fabrication and construction capabilities of Supreme Group, a Canadian based-company that specializes in fabrication and module assembly across Canada, to form Supreme Modular Fabrication Inc.

Skanska has signed a construction contract with an existing electric power client. The contract is worth US$101 million. Skanska Industrial contractors will perform structural and mechanical installation on an environmental compliance project.

SunPower has begun construction on two new solar power projects for Yolo County in California. The two projects will be owned by Yolo County, and are expected to generate 5.8MW of solar power for county facilities.

The Westlands Water District is partnering with Westside Holdings to prepare a detailed environmental impact report and master plan for a proposed 2,400 MW solar power project.
