Enbridge plans for new Minnesota pipeline
Enbridge Energy, a Canadian pipeline operator, has submitted a proposal to the Public Utilities Commission for the construction of the Sandpiper pipeline that would carry the crude oil from the Bakken Shale in North Dakota to Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Orland voters approve three-turbine wind project
Residents voted 439-258 in support of a three-turbine wind project that has been proposed for their town. That gives Portsmouth-based developer Eolian Renewable Energy the go-ahead to proceed with plans to construct the turbines on Whites Mountain in northern Orland.
