Fluor awarded DOE contract
The United States Department of Energy (DOE) awarded Fluor with a three-year contract for the next phase cleanup at the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant (GDP) in Paducah, Kentucky. Fluor is the prime contractor for the management, integration and execution of the deactivation and post-GDP shutdown remediation activities at the Paducah site.

Enbridge pipeline to operate in Oct.
Enbridge has announced that in October, The Seaway Twin will be filled with Canadian oil sands crude from its new 600,000 barrel-per-day (bpd) Flanagan South Pipeline. The crude will be brought to North America’s largest refining complex on the US Gulf Coast.
