Centravis approved for KHT AML

In July 2015, CENTRAVIS received official notification from US-based KOCH Heat Transfer (KHT) after successfully passing the certification procedure for the supply of seamless stainless steel tubes.

Air products’ LNG technology for Freeport LNG

Air Products announced an agreement to provide its proprietary LNG technology, equipment, and process license for Freeport LNG Development’s Train 3 gas liquefaction and export project. The sale includes Air Products’ main cryogenic coil-wound heat exchangers and associated technology, which will be vital in the production of LNG at the facility near Freeport, Texas.

CENTRAVIS approved for LyondellBasell & CB&I

The second quarter of 2015 has seen Centravis, the provider of high quality solutions in the seamless stainless steel tubes segment, receive approval from two American industry giants: LyondellBasell and Chicago Bridge & Iron Company.

ATI names VP of new product development

Allegheny Technologies Incorporated (ATI) announced that Melissa E. Martinez has been named ATI’s Vice President, New Product Development. In this new position, Ms. Martinez will be responsible for leading the establishment and implementation of a company-wide research and development (R&D) process, focusing and utilizing the talents and assets of ATI’s business units.

Fluor Secures Tank Farm Contract

Fluor Corporation was awarded an engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction (EPFC) contract by Suncor Energy Oil Sands Limited Partnership for a tank farm development project in the Athabasca oil sands region in Alberta, Canada.

Sudbury’s Centre for Excellence in Mining getting boost

Recently, city council voted unanimously to invest $200,000 CAD per year for the next five years in the Center for Excellence in Mining (CEMI), for its commercialization attainment project (CAP).

By 2019, a total of $1 million will have been invested through the Greater Sudbury Development Corporation, the city's economic development wing.
