Holly to develop Delaware Basin infrastructure

Holly Energy Partners (HEP) will undertake two expansion projects to provide 60,000 barrels per day of additional crude pipeline take-away capacity resulting from increased Delaware Basin drilling activity in southeast New Mexico. The first project will boost one of HEP's existing crude oil trunk lines from 35,000 BPD to 60,000 BPD.

Quaker City Castings expands

Quaker City Casting (QCC) vice president Geoff Korff has reported that the company has purchased a 51,000sq/ft building adjacent to its operation. It plans to reorganize its operations by relocating its secondary processes

NSL Group wins wind power project

The NSL Group has acquired developmental rights to construct a 400MW wind power project in Chile. The investment outlay for the entire project is estimated at approximately USD 650 million.

Harsco wins Vallourec & Sumitomo contract

Harsco Corporation has been awarded a nine-year contract at the new Vallourec & Sumitomo Tubos do Brasil (VSB) tube mill in Brazil. The new mill is a joint venture between Vallourec and Sumitomo Metals aimed at producing seamless steel tubes for the oil, gas and petrochemical markets.

Houston Structures replaces wire rope assemblies

Houston Structures Inc., a member of Ulven Companies, has successfully completed a contract from U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to provide tainter gate wire rope assembly replacements for 11 dams in Oklahoma and Kansas. New Big Blue® 450 Duo CST from Miller Electric

Miller Electric Mfg. Co. has added the new Big Blue® 450 Duo CST, a dual-operator diesel engine-driven welding generator, to its line of products. The generator features two CST 280 Stick/TIG inverters and 12,000 watts of continuous three-phase power in a single unit.
