Schulz Xtruded Products (SXP) has received an order from HYUNDAI Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. for the supply of 4.500 meters of 6” seamless pipe in material grade alloy 625 for the ADMA-OPCO Satah al-Razboot (SARB) Offshore Oilfield, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
AISC publishes Design Guide 27
The American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) has released its new publication Design Guide 27, which gives guidance for the design of structural stainless steel.
The document is intended for engineers experienced in the design of carbon steel structural components but not specifically in the design of stainless steel structures.
Outokumpu and Sinopec sign strategic agreement
Outokumpu has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Sinopec Group on material development and deliveries of stainless steel. As part of the one-year agreement Outokumpu will supply Sinopec’s subsidiary, China Petrochemical International Co.
Outokumpu supplies lean duplex for solar plant pro
Outokumpu has won another contract for a pioneering Crescent Dunes solar plant project in Tonopah, Nevada, USA. In addition to 650 tons of stainless quarto plate, Outokumpu will also supply more than 60 tons of lean duplex LDX2101®.
