Powers new CFO of Niska
Niska Gas Storage Partners LLC has appointed Vance E. Powers as Chief Financial Officer, effective 1 January 2011. Powers succeeds Darin T. Olson, who will continue on as Vice President of Finance.

GE will build a 500MW gas fired power plant in Ondo State, Nigeria. The company will supply four Frame 9E gas turbines, generators and accessories in addition to technical assistance and training.
