Electralloy given ABS certification

The Pennsylvania-based custom melter of specialty and stainless steels has been awarded the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) certification to make steel castings for marine applications.

This new certification will now allow the company to produce castings in alloy and stainless grades of 304N, 17-4, 15-5, Nitronic®50, Nitronic® 50ESR in weights up to 28, 500kgs (63,000 lbs).
