Rittal’s new enclosure in the TS 8 series

Rittal Corporation, the electrical enclosure manufacturer, has launched the newest product in its TS 8 freestanding enclosure series. The enclosure is built out of 316-stainless steel so it is the most rugged and durable product so far in the series and is especially designed for harsh and/or difficult applications like some of the applications in the oil & gas, food & beverage and wastewater industries.

New patent for sensor/transmitters

OleumTech, the company that manufactures wireless industrial automation systems, has been granted a US patent, 8,763,455 B1 by the US Patent Office. The patent is for the Resistive Liquid Level/Temperature Sensor and Transmitter, technology that includes low voltage impedance and the levels of two different liquids located within a storage tank (usually oil and water).

MesoCoat wins grants to develop CermaClad™

Abakan’s subsidiary, MesoCoat, along with Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) have been awarded USD $1 million by the Department of Energy (DOE) to develop a process to join dissimilar metal alloys (including corrosion resistant alloys).
