Canada: Oil well production

Blackdog Resources Ltd and its private-company partner have begun production at its first horizontal light-oil well in SE Saskatchewan, Canada, producing 100bpd. The well has been tied in to a pipeline at a total cost within the CAN 1 million budget. Assuming an oil price of CAN 100/barrel, the well at Whitebear, near the town of Carlyle, is expected to generate CAN 100,000 a month in cash flow to Blackdog.
