Alfa Laval wins energy efficiency order

The company specializing in heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling, Alfa Laval, has won an order to supply Alfa Laval Packinox heat exchangers to a refinery in the US. It is booked in the Welded Heat Exchanger unit of the Energy Division, with deliveries scheduled for 2019.

The order comprises of compact heat exchangers for energy recovery in a chemical process, where low octane refinery naphtha’s are converted into high-octane liquid products.
“I am happy about this order for our energy-efficient and compact heat exchangers,” says Susanne Pahlén Šklundh, President of the Energy Division. “These reliable and highly energy-efficient products play a vital role in recovering energy thus contributing to huge energy savings in many different industries not least in refinery and petrochemical applications.”
