NaturEner USA has awarded ACCIONA Windpower a contract for 126 wind turbines to be manufactured at its West Branch facility. As per the contract, the company will construct and assemble the turbines; there is also a seven-year contract for maintenance and operation of NaturEner’s planned Rim Rock wind park in Montana. The wind turbines will have a generating capacity of 1.5MW and a rotor diameter of 77m. ACCIONA has previously worked with NaturEner to supply 210MW of wind power for the Glacier Wind I and Glacier Wind II wind parks in Montana.
