Cortec has introduced its newest corrosion inhibiting solution; Desiccor Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitor (VpCI) Pouches. The pouches have been specially designed to be double-sided, and contain a unique combination of desiccant and VpCI.
Ideal for protecting packaged ferrous metals, such as stainless steel, as well as non-ferrous metals from corrosion, the dual function of the pouches reduce moisture in the air. This then provides multi-metal protection within a package.
Essentially, the desiccant action allows the VpCI free access to the surface of the metal, without competition from moisture on the metals surface.
The pouch has been recommended for completed assemblies, parts, components, motors, mechanical controls, precision machined or stamped parts, marine and commercial electronic equipment, electrical equipment, and tools.
