Corrosion resistant stainless steel electrodes

Arcos Industries LLC had released two bare wire and covered stainless steel electrodes especially designed to enhance productivity for specific welding applications. Arcos 320/320LR is primarily utilized for pipe welding. It produces a high purity weld deposit which reduces weld metal fissuring (while maintaining the corrosion resistance) frequently encountered in fully austenitic stainless steel weld metals. Arcos 410 electrodes are generally used for welding alloys of similar composition and for the deposition of overlays on carbon steel to resist corrosion, erosion and abrasion. These 12% chromium alloy electrodes are air hardened and require preheat and postheat treatments to achieve welds of adequate ductility for many engineering purposes. Arcos 320/320LR and Arcos 410 bare wire electrodes are available in diameters from .035in- 3/16in. The covered electrode versions are offered in diameters ranging from 3/32in – 3/16in.
