Arcos Industries LLC, headquartered in Pennsylvania, US, has released a new bare wire stainless steel electrode, Arcos 316LSi, which is a high silicon wire designed to provide a smooth bead appearance and improved wetting action. It is a general purpose bare wire (ER316LSi) electrode developed for GMAW and GTAW welding. This product joins Types 304L, 316 and 316L as well as Types 318 and 347 for temperatures up to 750F. Typical welding applications include piping systems, food service equipment, chemical processing plants and pharmaceutical facilities. Arcos 316LSi bare wire electrodes are available in diameters from .035in- 3/16in.
