worldsteel’s yearbook now available

The 2013 Steel Statistical Yearbook published by The World Steel Association (worldsteel) is now available both in print and online.

The yearbook provides an in-depth cross-section of relevant steel industry statistics. The statistics cover the years 2003 to 2012 and include crude steel production by process, steel production by product, steel trade by product, apparent steel use and production of iron ore and directly reduced iron.

This newest edition also contains added information on indirect exports and imports of steel and true steel use. All the statistics were collected from members of worldsteel as well as other international organizations. Digital copies can be downloaded in PDF format from www.worldsteel.org and print copies can be ordered for 50 euros each for both members and non-members alike.

The worldsteel is one of the largest industry associations in the world, representing approximately 170 steel producers, national and regional steel industry associations and steel research institutes.
