Wood Group awarded contract for turbine facility

Wood Group GTS, the provider of engineering, production support and maintenance management in the energy sector, has been awarded a six-year maintenance services contract for GE Frame 7EA gas turbine at a manufacturing facility in Texas.
 
The contract includes all major maintenance services, such as parts, repairs, field services and the installation of monitoring and diagnostics technology to provide predictive performance management of the gas turbine. The client required that a supplier of services be in place before the next scheduled combustion inspection in spring 2014.
