Wind turbine order

Exelon Wind has awarded Denmark-based Vestas an order to supply wind turbines for 59MW in capacity for its Harvest II Wind Project in Michigan. Under the terms of the contract, Vestas will supply, install and commission 33 V100-1.8MW units and provide maintenance services for ten years. The contract will also involve remote monitoring and surveillance of the projects through the VestasOnline SCADA system. Vestas will commence delivery of the project from mid-2012 and it is expected to install wind turbines in towards the end of 2012.
