Wilden launches stainless steel

Wilden®, part of Dover Corporation’s Pump Solutions Group (PSG) and specialise in air-operated double-diaphragm (AODD) pump technology, launched its energy-efficient Pro-Flo SHIFT Air Distribution System (ADS) in 316 stainless steel and polypropylene plastic materials of construction, joining the original aluminium and nickel-plated aluminium offerings.

The introduction of the stainless steel and plastic Wilden SHIFT ADS options allows Wilden AODD pumps to be offered for a greater number of applications, including sanitary (food & beverage, personal care products and pharmaceuticals), hazardous chemicals and corrosive environments. The release of the stainless steel and plastic SHIFT models completes the Wilden pump-line offering for the Saniflo FDA, Advanced FIT (bolted), Advanced (bolted) and Original (clamped) AODD pumps. Most existing Wilden pump users will be able to upgrade to the new materials of construction by purchasing a 316 stainless steel or polypropylene Pro-Flo SHIFT retrofit kit.

The Wilden Pro-Flo SHIFT is available in 316 stainless steel, polypropylene, aluminium and nickel-plated aluminium in 38mm (1-1/2”), 51mm (2”) and 76mm (3”) sizes and features maximum discharge pressures to 8.6 bar, maximum flows to 1056 lpm and maximum solid-handling size to 13mm (1/2”). The Wilden Pro-Flo SHIFT is available with maximum suction lifts to 7.2m (23.8’) dry and 9.6m (30.6’) wet.
