Plymouth Tube Company’s West Monroe, Louisiana Tubing Mill received the 2010 AME Manufacturing Excellence Award. The award was given based on the company’s excellence in terms of operations and their focus on continuous improvement, innovation, best practices, and creativity. West Monroe offers seamless and welded stainless steel tubing including XtraLowStress® stainless steel feedwater heater tubing for feedwater heaters in the power generation market. They will formally receive the award on 18 November 2010 along with other regional North American manufacturing plants that also demonstrated excellence in their operations.
