W.M. Sprinkman partners with stainless tank maker

Two Wisconsin stainless steel machinery companies have developed a partnership to expand their capacity to serve the ever-expanding brewing industry. W.M. Sprinkman serves the dairy and food and beverage processing industries, but has recently been focusing on growing its craft brewing equipment business. According to a recent announcement, W.M. Sprinkman Corp. and Walker Engineered Products, a subsidiary of Wabash National Corp., will collaborate to build brewing tanks larger than those that Sprinkman can currently build at its Franksville and Elroy facilities.

The two companies have collaborated on a few orders in the past, including fermenters, silos, water tanks and cold storage tanks, but this new partnership will formalize the relationship. Walker will manufacture the stainless steel tanks using Sprinkman’s custom designs.
