Vestas has received an order for 150MW for several projects in Brazil. The order is scheduled for completion by December 2012. As per the contract, Vestas will provide 75 x 2MW platform turbines to be placed in the region of Rio Grande do Norte in Brazil. The platform turbines will be used in the Ventos de Sao Miguel, Renascença I, Renascença II, Renascença III and Renascença IV projects. The agreement includes supply, installation and commissioning of the turbines, a VestasOnline® Business SCADA system and a five-year Service Contract with the AOM 5000 solution.
