Each of the two Valve World Americas conference days will begin with a series of three exciting plenary lectures that will run in total for a full hour from 8:30am to 9:30am.
The first plenary on the second morning, Thursday July 15th, will begin at 8:30am and the topic will be revealed within the upcoming weeks.
At 9:00am, Mr. John Carte from MRC Global will speak about “The Benefits of Standardizing Specifications in Valve Selection.” He will discuss how valve distributors create supply chain efficiencies and savings for both manufacturers and consumers. Deviating from industry standards, however, can create pitfalls and unexpected risks to an end user’s operations. At 9:30am Mr. Adam M. Kushner from Hogan & Lovells, LLP will talk about “Environmental Enforcement: Looking Back, Looking Forward,” which will report on the current state of EPA’s enforcement program with particular focus on enforcement trends and results as well as areas of focus for EPA in this coming year.
