USA: enrichment facility expansion

Parsons has been awarded a two-year contract by Louisiana Energy Services  to provide engineering, construction management, and construction services for the expansion phase of the National Enrichment Facility in Eunice, New Mexico. The USD 3 billion facility is the first plant of its kind, using centrifuge technology to enrich uranium for fuel rods for power plants in the United States. LES selected Parsons based on its approach, engineering experience, and ability to partner and develop the project in a fast-track manner while meeting Nuclear Regulatory Commission licensing requirements.
