USA: carbon and stainless steel processing facilit

ThyssenKrupp has completed a number of milestones since a year after breaking ground on its massive steel processing project in SW Alabama, and is poised to start up the facility on schedule in 2010. ThyssenKrupp is building a USD 4.2 billion carbon steel and stainless steel processing facility in Calvert. The facility is a key part of ThyssenKrupp’s North American growth strategy and will supply steel for a variety of applications in sectors including automotive, packaging, construction, electrical and utilities.
