Corrpro Companies will be providing anti-corrosion services to the US military for their fuel storage tanks and transfer pipeline equipment at installations worldwide.
The contract is reportedly worth $10 million and will be carried out from the US Army Corps of Engineers under a three-year firm-fixed price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity. The work will include the assessment, design and installation of cathodic protection systems, corrosion studies, training of base personnel, field consulting during construction and system evaluation through post-construction award services.
“We are pleased to partner with the US Army Corps of Engineers through their Corrosion Services Worldwide program,” said Corrpro president Greta Senn. “Dating back to 2003, this is Corrpro’s third Corrosion Services Worldwide IDIQ contract award, and Corrpro’s first contract with the US Army Corps of Engineers. As a leading company dedicated to corrosion engineering, Corrpro has extensive experience in the engineering design, build and monitoring of cathodic protection systems used to protect and extend the useful life of vital assets.”
