The US Department of Commerce has announced that it will revoke the antidumping orders on stainless steel sheet and strip in coils originated from Germany, Italy and Mexico. This announcement comes in response to the final negative determination in the sunset review made by the US International Trade Commission. US ITC determined that the withdrawal of the AD orders would not damage the local steel industry within a reasonably foreseeable time. The revocation of the AD orders will be effective on the entries which were made on or after 2010 July 25. The US DOC will send the directives to the US Customs and Border Protection to end the suspension of liquidation and collection of the cash deposits.
