US Army to use high vacuum furnace tech

The Corpus Christi Army Depot in Texas, USA has purchased three Seco/Warwick vacuum furnaces to preform vacuum heat treatment services for aircraft components.

Seco/Warwick will supply two 2-bar and one 12-bar high pressure cooling high vacuum furnaces equipped with moly/stainless steel hot zones, high vacuum pumping system and electrical controls. This contract also includes installation, start-up and commissioning services.
