In his article, Titanium is soaring high across many industries and sectors, James Chater examines how within the last few years, titanium has sunk to a very low pricebut as he writes, that does not mean that demand from aerospace and other cutting-edge industries is not high! Future orders for titanium components and the stimulus given by 3D printing to titanium manufacture mean that demand for titanium metal products is set to increase. The two industries that are being deeply affected by 3D printing are aerospace and medicine, but automotive and desalination are just two other industries where titanium use is likely to grow.
