International Titanium Association’s (ITA’s) 25th Annual Conference, a yearly event dedicated to the titanium industry, is slated for 13-16 September 2009 in Hawaii, USA. The conference brings together executives from the major titanium companies and international experts across the supply chain – from raw material suppliers to producers, manufacturers, and distributors, along with vendors and end users, to analyze the state of the industry. The mission of the conference is to give attendees global insights on supply and demand and the current conditions in key consuming market sectors. Presentations by executives from titanium-producing companies will cover the topics of world demand trends, world supply trends, and state of the titanium industry in Japan and China. There will also be hour long panel presentations about titanium applications. More than 40 experts will focus on current topics in major consuming industries, including military and commercial aerospace and corrosion-resistant markets such as power generation, chemical processing, desalination, armor, and automotive.
