ThyssenKrupp opens training center

ThyssenKrupp Steel USA, ThyssenKrupp Stainless USA, and AIDT has held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Erich Heine Learning Center. Among other uses, the new centre will provide operational, maintenance and administrative training for the team members of ThyssenKrupp’s new multi-billion dollar steel and stainless steel processing facilities currently under construction in Calvert, Alabama, US. The centre is being named after ThyssenKrupp Steel Executive Board Member Erich Heine who was a victim of the Air France flight 447 disaster on 1 June 2009.
