thyssenkrupp combines its businesses

thyssenkrupp, which has locations throughout Mexico and North and South America, has combined its Forging and Machining business and its Undercarriage business into a new business unit called Forged Technologies. Its new unit has roughly 7,000 employees at 18 production sites and a distribution network in more than 70 countries.

The global integration includes seven businesses across North America: Undercarriage businesses in Waukesha, Wisconsin; Kilgore, Texas; Puyallup, Washington; and Greenborough, South Carolina; and Forging and Machining businesses in Danville, Illinois; Veedersburg, Indiana; and Puebla, Mexico.
