ThyssenKrupp adjusts to new Canadian tax changes

Beginning 1 July 2010, the Provinces of Ontario and British Columbia have changed their tax laws on sale of goods and services. The tax changed from a Goods and Service Tax and a Provincial Sales Tax into a single harmonized sales tax with various tax percentages. At the same time the Province of Nova Scotia changed its rate to 15%. In order to comply with the new tax laws from Canada, ThyssenKrupp Stainless North America will be charging this new tax when applicable with all shipments to Canada effective immediately.
