Thomas & Betts (T&B), a member of the ABB Group, whose global headquarters are located in Memphis, Tennessee, has enhanced its line of T&B® Fittings Stainless Steel Conduit and Fittings in response to demand for corrosion-resistant products, especially in the food and beverage market. T&B added 45- and 90-degree elbows and 12-inch nipples, both in various sizes and in both Type 304 and Type 316 stainless steel. T&B also added Type 304 stainless steel couplings to its existing selection of Type 316 stainless steel couplings.
The demand is particularly acute in the food and beverage market, but these products will benefit any customer seeking corrosion-resistant solutions for managing electrical systems, said Ralph Donati, Product Marketing Director at T&B. Stainless steel is among the most resistant to extreme corrosion, chemicals and temperatures of any material used to make electrical conduit systems. It is also strong, durable, easy to install and low maintenance.
