Tejas Tubular to construct Indiana facility

Tejas Tubular Products plans to construct a new facility in New Carlisle, Indiana. This facility will focus on heat treatment and manufacturing of 4 ½” through 9 5/8” OD well casing for the oil and gas industry. The annual capacity of the facility is expected to exceed 72,000 tons annually. The primary output will be heavier-weight production casing with semi-premium and premium threaded connections.
Tejas is a manufacturer and supplier of oil country tubular goods (OCTG) for the petroleum industry.
Tejas product lines include petroleum production products such as casing, tubing, couplings and tubular accessories as well as drilling products including drill pipe, drill collars and drill string accessories.
“Tejas is committed to working within local communities, promoting domestic jobs, and utilizing American steel to support the U.S. domestic tubular products industry. The New Carlisle plant is expected to create more than 100 jobs for the community,” said vice president, Sales and Marketing Darrell Ballinger.
