tecsis introduces new inline load cell

The manufacturer of load cells, force sensors and pressure transducers, tecsis, is launching its new load cell, model XLRW, which is an inline load cell with an integral tongue and yoke shackle design specially suited for the oil and gas industry.

The load cell is created to measure tension loads in wireline and slickline applications includng well intervention, well logging and tool retrieval. The unit also monitors mast and hook weight up to 40,000 Ibs with an accuracy of ±0.50% FSO.

Model XLRW is an all-welded stainless steel load cell that is engineered for heavy-duty use with a reliable bonded foil strain gage sensing elemnts and a field-replaceable amplifier. It operate on ±15VDC excitation and is available with analog 1.5VDC or digital RS485 output. Operating temperature is -65° to +250°F, compensated from -20° to +140°F.
