Teadit TF 1570 Achieves USP Class VI [§88 And §87] Approval

TEADIT®, a global leader in innovative sealing solutions, is proud to announce that its TEADIT TF 1570, a structured PTFE gasket sheet, has completed testing to receive USP Class VI (General Chapter §88 and §87) certification. This prestigious approval underscores the product’s exceptional biocompatibility and suitability for use in critical applications, including pharmaceutical and biotechnological industries, where adherence to stringent safety and quality standards is essential.

This achievement falls under the Classification of Plastics – Plastic Class VI – at the highest possible temperature of 249.8°F (121 °C). The study was performed at a test facility in Munich, in compliance with Good Laboratory Practice Regulations, ensuring that the quality and integrity of the study were upheld. The testing was done with four different types of media, including polyethylene glycol, cottonseed oil, saline, and ethanol.

TEADIT® TF 1570 is engineered with a unique fibrillation process that enhances its resistance to creep relaxation and cold flow, ensuring reliable and durable performance under extreme conditions. Combining superior chemical compatibility with high compressibility, it provides an ideal sealing solution for applications requiring precision and safety. The USP Class VI certification further solidifies TEADIT® TF 1570’s reputation as a trusted product for industries demanding the highest levels of compliance and reliability.

This achievement is an addition to our existing products that have received this approval, including 28 LS-LE and 24 SH.
