Subsea 7 S.A. has been awarded a contract by Anadarko and their partners for the Heidelberg development in the Gulf of Mexico.
The work scope includes the engineering, fabrication, and installation of risers, pipelines, and flowlines in water depths over 1,600 meters. Project management and engineering will begin immediately at Subsea 7’s offices in Houston. Offshore operations are due to begin before the end of 2014, with pipelay activities being performed by the Seven Borealis.
