Starrett TENNAX-PRO Bimetal Band Saw Blades Made for Cutting Steel

The L.S. Starrett Co. has introduced TENNAX-PRO bimetal band saw blades, designed to cut tubes, pipes, profiles, and structural shapes in single pieces and bundles. According to the company, the blades offer low noise and vibration and long blade life.

They feature high-speed M-42 steel teeth with a new tooth geometry and tip profile that dissipates stress during cutting for greater resistance to wear and tooth breakage. In addition, the blades are designed with a tooth-setting process that helps minimize pinching when cutting structural and bundled materials.

The blades cut carbon steel, carbon steel alloys, stainless steel, and nonferrous materials. They are available in widths of 3/4, 1, 1-1/4, 1-1/2, 2, and 2-5/8 in.
