Stainless steel PJ valves picked for LNG project

PJ Valves (PJV), the specialist manufacturer and supplier of valves for the global energy industry, has been awarded a $650k contract from a major EPC contractor following a competitive tender.
The company will manufacture and supply over 500 valves to an LNG modernization project located in New Jersey, US.

PJV will manufacture and deliver ball, butterfly, gate, globe and check valves all supplied in both cryogenic and non-cryogenic design. The cryogenic design ensures successful application in extremely low temperatures when natural gas is cooled and condensed into LNG. The carbon and stainless-steel valves will be manufactured in PJV’s factories in India and Italy and will range up to 12 inches in diameter and 2,500 lb in pressure class.

The company was awarded the tender for the standard of its design and manufacturing capabilities and its ability to deliver valves with the 20-week lead time. PJV’s flexibility will also benefit the client as it can provide comprehensive and quality solutions at any point in the project schedule. This will be instrumental in meeting the December 2018 deadline.
