Aalborg Instruments, headquartered in Orangeburg, New York, US, has introduced the Model xV Multi-Gas Glass Tube Flow Meters. These units feature rotatable scale drums for displaying flow rates of five routine gases (argon, carbon dioxide, helium, nitrogen, and oxygen). Aalborg’s heavy-walled, fluted borosilicate glass flow tubes with polycarbonate shields are assembled in brass or 316 stainless steel frames. Practical and economical, multi-gas rotameters eliminate the need for individual flow meters and calibrations. Direct reading gradations showing dual SCFM and L/min markings reflect both metric and English systems. Vertical In-line or Panel Mount models are available. The standard seals are Viton. Optional Buna-N, PTFE/Kalrez and EPR seals are also available. 3/8in NPT female in-line or rear connections as well as 316 stainless steel floats are offered.
