Stainless pressure switch for deepwater subsea

Hydracon Subsea has introduced a new pressure switch model 2406-100, submersible to 20,000ft ocean depth. The pressure switch is to be used on deepwater subsea hydraulic control systems. The switch is magnetically actuated, uses only two wires, no electric power consumption, and is supplied with underwater connectors. It is constructed of 316L stainless steel with a small body size, 1.1in diameter x 5.7in in length, and weighs only 19oz. The switch meets the industry standard for protection against continuous immersion in water, IPX8 of IEC 529.
